William Levy se defiende de acusación

The actor said that prior to the application filed by the child, he sued her and her mother for extortion
MEXICO CITY (18/AGO/2010) .- El actor William Levy defended himself against accusations of sexual abuse of a minor and said that on August 11, six days before being sued by Karla Alvarez He filed a lawsuit in Miami federal court against the child and his mother alleging extortion by the amount of $ 950 000.

Information portal in Spanish People said that the lawsuit filed by Levy stated that Alvarez's lawyer, Steven Lerman, the actor threatened to hear the case of an alleged sexual assault on the media to damage his public image, unless it agreed to pay that amount.

The demand for Levy details how he met Karla Alvarez, who said he was 19. The actor was presenting the play "A lover to measure" in a theater in Glendale California, United States, in which the child was working as a blockbuster.

Next, as the demand for Levy, the girl inexplicably became personal assistant and several times tried to be present when he was changing clothes during the course of the play.

Demand for the actor says that the night of July 18, Levy dined at a restaurant near the hotel Hilton said county California and returned to his room. At 2:00 am on July 19, was awakened by one of the producers of the play who invited him to have a drink at the restaurant where he had dined. Finally, at 2:30 arrived at the restaurant, another producer of the work and Alvarez were present.

After the drinks, Alvarez went to Levy to talk with him. At the end of the night, one of the producers, the minor and the actor went to Spell actor's hotel room in order to wait for transport for Alvarez. The lawsuit said minor left the room at four in the morning.

Alvarez found out that Levy had filed charges against him alleging that the actor knew she was 17 when the alleged incident of sexual assault took place.

For his part, Levy's lawyer, Ralph G. Patil has described the case as shocking and said that the acts never offered $ 500,000 to attorney Karla Alvarez in exchange for it not to file charges against the actor.

Patil also made it very clear that Alvarez lied about his age by saying that I was 19 and 17. And, when asked whether there was any relationship between his client and the minor, Patiño was saved that information.

Despite feeling that there is a strong case, and that Alvarez and his attorney, Steven A. Lerman, will have to pay as a result of 10 million dollars, Patiño clear what would happen if he is to blame Levy. "If they had had consensual sex is a misdemeanor."
